Engaging in global business means recognizing and understanding meaningful cultural differences. The first step is to consider issues such as power distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, and short-term/long-term orientation . Cultural differences should be carefully interpreted because they are based on generalizations rather than the characteristics of specific individuals. Adapting managerial practices to cultural differences is difficult because policies and practices can be perceived differently in different cultures. Your report should be 1-2 pages in length.
